About the Role
We expect you to manage the bar, serve customers on the bar and be on the floor. You need to deal with situations with customers, ensuring our rules are followed. You will change barrels and cask ales. You help out wherever you can ensuring everything is in order, such as pouring pints, serving food, cleaning and clearing up etc. You need to have confidence, to approach and talk to customers that are out of line.
Requirements
Previous bar or restaurant experience
Good customer service skills
Work in a fast paced environment

About the Company
We are an independent pub that is run by Suzanne (Me), who runs the kitchen and Mark (My husband), who runs the bar. We have been at this 200 year old pub for 23 years now. We all work together as a team and help each other out wherever and whenever we can. We have amazing regular local customers that come in every week, some every day and they all become like family to us. Our team all get along very well and are so welcoming, it just feels like one big family. We have quite a few high standards involving our presentation and clientele, which you will learn about and pick up on. We are different from other pubs, we are a proper pub, we focus on serving good quality food and drink, we like to interact with customers and provide good customer service and we like to support local businesses wherever we can.
